Euro 2012 GS Soccer
Euro 2012 GS Soccer is a game that is based on the European Cup. The teams come from Europe and vie for who will be the premier country for that year. The game is very detailed and you can play the official rounds or just any random group. Ideally, it would be best if you went for the official group setting. Group A comprises Greece, Poland, Czech Republic and Russia; Group B has Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal and Germany; Group C has Spain, Ireland, Croatia and Italy; Group D has Ukraine, France, England and Sweden. As the game starts, you will choose the team that you want to play for, and then you will have the opportunity to decide whether to play in the official groups or a random one. The game is played like the FIFA games of Xbox and Playstation. The players run after one another with the ball. You use the arrow keys to control the motion of the players and also the ASD buttons for various functions. For a player without a ball, the letter mean Soft tackle, change players, and hard tackle respectively; for players with the ball, the same keys mean lob, pass and kick in the same order. The CPU is very fast and you have to be very keen when playing against it. A simple slip will cost you a goal if you are not careful. All the players run at the same speed so you should make sure that you change players so the ones at the front can tackle any opposing player heading towards your goal; chasing after him with one player will not make a difference. Unlike other games where the players change on cue, this one needs you to be fully aware of how to change players. It will cost you 200 points for every goal that you let through.
